Matching wine with food

We believe that good wines should always complement fine foods, and this is an important consideration in the way we make our wines.

To help people appreciate the food friendliness our wines, we have our own Cellar Door and Café located in a beautiful setting close to our vineyard.

At the Cellar Door, a full range of our wines is available for tasting and sale and the Bluemetal Café, open for business at weekends and on public holidays, serves a wide variety of gourmet tasting plates and delicious desserts.

Every year we also present a number of themed wine and food functions at the Café which are extremely popular and are often fully booked. These provide our visitors with the perfect opportunity to try out different food and wine combinations.

The Cellar Door also stocks a range of specialist gourmet food products and wine accoutrements as well including decanters and stemware. And the recent opening of ‘The Vineyard Cottage’ next door to the Cellar Door offers guests an extended way to experience the peace and tranquillity of our unspoilt vineyard.
